Tuva 1.4.3

• Audio normalisation - By default, audio is now normalised in Tuva. It is possible to disable this in the settings.
• Dock bar interactions - When right-clicking Tuva in the dock bar, some new shortcuts appear, for example opening samples view or project view.
• Move files to trash - You can now right-click samples in tuva and move them to the trash bin directly from the app.

• Logic project file parsing - Improvements to the parsing of timeline items, giving a more consistently accurate preview of timelines for .logicx packages.

Bug fixes

• Overlay app - Some bugs which caused interactions to stop working in the overlay app has been resolved.
• Folder refresh - A bug which caused folder refresh to not work properly has been resolved.

Tuva 1.4.2

Improvements

• Logic project file parsing - The ability to load information from .logicx project has been improved to better handle parsing of the timeline as well as MIDI information.
• Performance optimizations - General optimizations regarding the loading of project files, for example that project files are only loaded whenever there are new changes made to them.
• Onboarding - The onboarding in the app now gives the alternative to identify common locations on your computer for storing projects and samples.
• Keybinds - New quick-access keybinds to open new tabs with samples, projects or MIDI files within Tuva.

Notes

Currently you can edit tags to any of the already existing tags in Tuva, but we are planning on adding fully customizable tags as soon as possible.

Tuva 1.4.1

Tuva 1.4.0

• Layout enhancements - a reworked layout, giving you completely new ways of making Tuva fit for your workflow.
  • Tabs - you can now open multiple tabs in Tuva, allowing you to jump quickly between searches
  • Customizable left bar - Add or remove items from the left bar, and create multiple views of the left bar, depending on your workflow.
• Pinned items - you can now pin collections, folders, or any view in your history for quick access

Improvements

• Enhanced folder view - The folder view now behaves more similar to a file browser, allowing you to see both folders and files. It now also includes a tree-view in the leftbar so that you can better see the hierarchy.
• Loading information - When scanning through your library, a tab in the left bar will appear which shows you more information about the progress of scanning your library, including number of files and percentage of library processed.

Bug Fixes

• Crashes on folder load - We have been able to spot and additional bugs since the 1.3.12 update, that have caused Tuva to freeze or crash during folder loading. There are still some known unresolved cases of this, see Notes.
• No files shown on launch - A bug which caused Tuva to show no files on launch has been resolved.

Notes

• Issues with large libraries - We have had reports of an issue which primarily affects users with large (> 200k files) libraries, where the app is crashing when loading files. A temporary fix is in place which prevents the issue by limits the similar sounds functionality, but a long-term fix is already in the working.

Tuva 1.3.12

• Performance Optimizations - Performance improvements have been made with regard to the classification of audio, lowering CPU usage substantially when loading folders.

Bug Fixes

• Crash on folder loading - We have been able to spot and fix additional bugs since the 1.3.11 update, that have caused Tuva to freeze or crash during folder loading.
